RANT- EVERYONES A CHRISTIAN

  Why is it that today everyone claims to be Christian, without having the fruit of Christianity. Has being a Christian become some type of trend. Do they know what is really means to be a Christian? To die to oneself and pick up your cross everyday. To have compassion and sympathy for others.  To be in the world and not of the world. Yes, sanctification is a process  But repentance is a renewing of the mind. We cannot claim Jesus and still live in sin. But one must think what is sin and how do we become like Jesus While the answer is simple, read the Bible. The Bible is the written word of God And it explains all the things we need to do as Christians. If you are a Christian and you don't read the Bible, and do what it says Then why call yourself  a Christian?  Luke 6: 46 says  "Why do you call me Lord, Lord and not do what I say". Would you call your self a doctor without taking the classes and getting your degree? No! Because if you claim something there...

The Measure of Fruits


 


By whose fruits do you judge someone's character

For by their fruits you will know them 

Do they bare the heart of Christ?

Or the will of the enemy?

Do they teach sound doctrine,

Or speak words that satisfy the itching ear.

For the word of God speaks truth to the heart.

And truth triumphs over all


Matthew 7: 15-20 

"15. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.16. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?17. So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.18. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.19. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.20. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits."
